What Purple Computer collects

Purple Computer itself (the software your kid uses) collects nothing. It runs entirely offline with no internet connection.

What this website collects

When you pre-order or sign up for notifications, we collect your email address. You can optionally tell us who the purchase is for and leave a message.

When you complete a purchase, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your name, shipping address, and payment information. We receive your name and shipping address from Stripe so we can ship your order. We do not store your payment details.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people find and use the site. These tools may use cookies and collect data like pages visited, clicks, and scroll behavior.

If you arrive via a link with tracking parameters (like UTM tags or ad click IDs), we store that referral information in a session cookie so we know how you found us.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Google Tag Manager for analytics, and Microsoft Clarity for session insights. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

How we use your information

We use your email to send updates about your pre-order and communicate important product information. We use analytics data to understand how people find the site and what's working.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't send marketing emails or newsletters unless you ask. We don't share your information with third parties except as needed to process orders and run this website.
